Meeeeh Seriousness

I don't like the much seriousness in our forum recently. Too much rules and stuff. In the first place we made this forum because MF was too strict and we wanted to be more free. So why the seriousness now? If we wanted a real forum with rules and all, we could stay in MF. I don't care if we don't get new members. This place is for us to talk and have fun. It doesn't need to be a competitive forum.
What will be next? Banning all the spam because it could increase the post number? XD Seriously, what the hell cares me the post number? Well okay I just care to have more than Nano, but that is just fun XD

I don't know how the most think about it, but strict forum annoys me and I wanted to rant a bit XD

The rules started because of the new ranks-system. And that's why I've been making polls to ask for your opinions (e.g. the monkey emoticons result was 6 votes for and 5 votes against) now you see. We're also trying to promote this forum to the public in order to make it more lively. And in order to make those people stay we should also keep some things under control. With the aim of making the new people feel at home, and not feel too confused with the chaos. There are a lot of threads and categories where you're allowed to be as off-topic as you want and where you can spam as much as you want.

The ranks were created in order to create competition, and with this kind of competition my goal was to make people post more in the forums, and therefore making it more lively here. But go on, if you're not fine with the ranks then I will make a new poll and ask people if they prefer the ranks to stay or to be removed.

If you don't want rules, do whatever you want. Let's see the chaos erupt. And tell em if we really do not need any rules.

This forum can still be fun with the rules.

So the goal is to get new members here who are even active?
Well I don't care if we get new people or making it more lively. As long we all stay together, it doesn't matter for me if we talk in one of the threads or chats. I thought this forum is just for us who know each other from MF. A place where we can keep talk to each other after the ORT got closed. I didn't know that it should be a popular forum with all that stuff.

Yes, that is actually what we've been planning to do. Aside from being our new home after the original ORT got closed down, it was our aim to make more people come here. Cause of what we've seen, this place has been recently dying off, and only 8-10 people visit here regularly when in the original ORT there were far more regular visitors.

You know, the rules are here because other members wanted us to take action when we could take none since we had no rules, I would have no problem on putting them up for vote, but all of you will have to agree to live with whatever might come your way.
No one was using this place anyway, so I don't see why it matters so much, we only set basic rules, and its not like you are breaking any...or anyone did. If anything it was me with double posting.

Annoys me too, a lot... but someone has to intervene :/
You can't make everyone happy, which is why we try to have everything up for vote.
So if something else bothers you after the ranking poll just say it and I guess it will be up to voting.

That is the thing Piraten, we are not staying together.
And no, its not just for us, is for everyone that wants to join, like the other thread was, always open to new people ._. We want activity because we want FT talk too, and that can't be done with 1 or 2 people like it is now. Well, at least that is it for me.

Exactly, this shows how we are NOT staying together. And they don't even visit the forums, its chat visits. The activity we want is on Forums, on the spam ones I guess you can do whatever you want.

But, doesn't that beat the purpose of having a forum? If chatting was all we wanted then we should have stuck with the DA chat.

DA chat trolls us and some people can't go there. People go here to discuss, it's up to them if they want to in the chat or in the forums. If I can talk to my friends in the forum, it's fine. If I can talk to them in the chat, it's fine too. Active or not I dun really care. We just want to have fun, and we post when we want.

That is what I think too....
And all of us don;t want the same thing, so they should give a chance to let us have more people, then they can chat and we can discuss FT :3 everyone wins.

I hope if we do make the thread merging then it will change c:
