BOYCOTT THE CHAT!!

Lately we have a lot of chats, the dA chat and the forums chat, and while I do like them I feel like its killing this forum and our friendship and FT romance along with it.
And with that, we have no reason to be.

I know a lot of us use the chats, I do a lot too, but I have always liked the thread better since I got to see and take part in discussion, or just share an opinion on things thta happened when I was not here. I felt I got to know all of you better too.
But with the chat, you missed it and you missed it. Too bad.

I have to say,I can't remember the last time I saw some people. It's like they just poofed. Hard to keep a friend like that :/
All the interesting conversations missed, no more romance talk, or FT talk, or even annoying Gintama talk. No random cat gifs, or dance breakouts, or gif fights...Or Sly's creepy Evie/Cleverbot chats, nothing that used to make me love the thread so much...and I need my FT romance talk too...

I understand if some want to keep using the chats, I do too...for some stuff, but I think it would be better to stop using it as much and use this place, since its what it was created for. Discussions are hard to make on the chat anyway, at least for me, I'm in a hurry when it moves fast and make terrible spelling mistakes, not to mention since everyone posts at the same time everything is hard to understand in the end.

I just wanted to share my thoughts on it, and to let it out there that the chat will be the death of us, I see us breaking out sooner if we keep posting mostly there, our friendship will be harder to keep, at least for me.

Btw, not calling for true boycott :p Just a bit less usage?

Ewwwww, what do you plan to achieved by boycott the chat? People are on chat from they free will and if they feel comfortable with it why is that action made for? Yet on forum we were talkin most of all about manga and anime, when we are on chat we can talk about random thing away of the sight of the random ppl. I dunno the reason why most of u can`t or don`t want to talkin on chat, but I am ok with it, its your decission. U have right for that. Some of u can feel ucomfortable with it. Ok. But why blamin chat for everythin, though it was a tool which made it possible to unite us more. Sorry for hurtin your feelins, but I don`t think that action have any sense.

Well then sorry, its probably cz I am bitch who always complain on you . Don`t mind me. One think just make me wonder- why u called it that? Shouldn`t it called Chat positives and negatives for example? For now u only says about its negatives.
And I think most of us are a bit closer cz we know eachother stories, we had known eachother better and trust eachother although more of time its seems dead lately. I am short-sighted, I liked to talk with people about problems in private place like chat although I like to talk to ppl on forum too (but not that much as on chat).

Nope, that is not a positive for me, like I said, makes certain people closer, people online at the same time, the other people don't get to hear the stories and don't get closer, how much closer do you think Sin has gotten to us? Or Sly and the ones that don't go there? Or Zani and Lurker(who don't seem to be online as much, and if they are, I havent seen them in long)? I think this doing more on separating that on making closer.

Over here we can share stories too, we have done so before, and its shared with all, even if they were not here at the time and we got closer together, now its just on chunks and with some people.

I think so.Some don't have time or are not able to, that is my point, I can't come at two in the morning, some can't from a phone, others can;t from work or school. I understand that, thar is why I want to keep using it, because I like to say private stuff there too. Stuff I couldn't here.

My timezone is pretty similar to Oino's, but school keeps me away for most of the day and the DA website is blocked in my school so, even if I did want to catch Oino and everyone else, I can't always. Then, there are some of us who can't seem to access the chat.

I miss going crazy with everyone in a forum where I can see what you were talking about before rather than in a chat where the history of your conversation disappears the moment you hit refresh or when you close the browser. I think a lot of us here do too and that's why Luna is asking us not to use the chat too much.

I agree, since the only one of us that don't seem to wanto keep it all on teh chat are the ones that missed things the most, I don't think the others even noticed.

You know I had no bad intention, and I didn't mean just your chat, I meant the annoying thing we have on the forums too, but it seems some threads don't load on ipads/phones so....

It can always be better, I am tired of saying I don't have a way with words, I just say it like that...probably in a hurtful way? Sorry, that's the way its ehre and how I got used to...can't help it.

Ijust feel that since some of us can't be ther all the time, its tears some of us apart, while it does make some closer. Of course, the chat is better for private stuff or quick random talks, so I think we should keep it, which is the reason I didn't call a true boycott, but I have seen manga talk there, and I think we could have some here to have some discussion.Or liket he discussion we had on IL Vs. RL it was almost impossible there...in the end we were all confused, and it could have been interesting to hear opinions of people that weren't there at the time.

I also find a little rude to invite people here, there are almost 40 members, and have all discussions in the chat....I don't meant to hurt anyone but...yeah...

Well I don`t think that someone could forbid me using the chat in first place . I think its a wordin issues just like Oino says. Don`t forget that chat was create for the same reasons as forum. Most of us were satisfied with this. Now I see people only complains about its idea and how it tear us apart. I dunno how the others feelin, for me its somewhat sad for don`t know all our group members that much although I`m also glad for better known that only 5 ppl on chat and I regret nothin. And what do u mean by every little thing? Like what? For example my poo was in rainbows colours today? Sorry, I just too old or too bitchy so I had to complain . For me chat is like a normal conversation. I think it better suitable for those kind of little things than forum.But if I had to choose between chat or forum i would choose... REAL LIFE :P

And why is not suitable for disscusion as well? Aren`t we discutin there? And what is with understandin OUR side? Didn u just put border between me and you right now? What I don`t understand? Explain it to my small brain please. That some people don`t like it? Ok, this is they decission, nothin against it. What else I can`t understand? I didn say everyone was happy with chat, but most of us like that idea. It was made instead of thread and durin waitin for new place, for talkin so in the end it had some of features like forum there has, but on chat we can talk more freely (this is my opnion at least) and altough this whole time zones I can talk to some ppl still. I m not sayin that chat is the best thing and we should give a shit to this forum, cause u put so much afford with build this place for us and I respect that. But Oino also wanted to make place for us, she put her afford as well. By tellin ppl to boycott chat (even as a joke) or tellin its tear ppl apart its somewhat that u blame her for this situation, that ppl don`t come here often.
And one thing. I was upset like others, but didn`t tantrum that much. I am old and I can cool with some situations. Besides why should I cry for it? For lost posts? Cause they took our place? Is it most important thing to you? I don`t really care if it is chat or forum as long as there are ppl I can talk to. So if u think the same, we are even.
