Dex in Emo corner?

Ah, i think I'm In Emo corner :'(

MIdterm exam is getting near but i don't have any motivation to study, even tasks from my seniors only hinder me from studying, what should I do? :'(

Maybe you should relax for a while and don't think about it too much.

hm, i don't know why i'm making this post, mostly because i'm in an emo corner obviously :P sorry for coming after such a long time and i only bring a problem.... D:

the thing is that i don't know why, but i can't get my spirit up to study even when i'm having a target in my college D:
another problem is that it's like my friends are keeping a distance from me for unknown reason. the day before we had fun and laughing, the next day i felt they kept away from me. is it only my imagination or they're really keeping a distance on me?
do all of these have a connection between each other? what's exactly happened if they do have a connection or no?

You should know that the emo corner exists for everyone to talk about their problems. Because some problems are easier talked to people you don't know IRL.

Aaaaah. I can understand that actually. I'm right now looking for a place where I can study after I graduate from that school and I know which subjects I should concentrate on but I can't bring myself to study.
Maybe try to make yourself schedules. And try to do the "First study, then fun"-thing.
I hope that's just your imagination Dex. But I can't really tell. Only that you should not think too much about it. Don't overthink things.

i don't know, i feel that it's not right to not coming in ages only to bring problems after such a long time

yes, the more you want to study/the more you like one thing, many obstacles are coming to stop you from doing that kind of thing....
maybe i'll try, if the "fun" thing is actually part of important thing in my whole class...
hm, i hope so too, maybe it's from my pov who are really timid IRL (and a bit sensitive) so that when people don't say 'hi' to me it's like he's making an enemy out of me, try not to mind much though....

okay, i've been eavesdropping listening to people talking (some of them actually), and that thing makes me coming here for a completely different reason:
the way people interact maybe is just my feeling, but there's a rumor that one of my friend is having a selection for a scholarship in japan, probably never coming back to study together with us. one thing is that he's like one of main roles in my class, and the best one in academic (sounds like i'm only taking advantages of him but whatever...). He's not really close to me but he's really kind to everyone including me, an introvert-type guy. it's a pity that a genius like him will leave us and we want them to be with us. But when i thought about it again, he's here because he's kicked out at entrance exam to one of top medical colleges in my country despite his achievement for my country and that made his heart hurt. If he's failed this time, he'll be hurt more. Besides, it's kind of bad to wish that he fail the test (it's less likely to happen since he's a prodigy). What should I do? i don't want him to go but wishing him to fail means making him hurt and i don't want to see that

Dex! Boy! just let the boy go! Don't be selfish! It's about the guy's future! You'll probably get to see him again some time in the future! You also have to try and work hard, perhaps also you can go to Japan.

I'm with Yuli on this, if he stays he will be miserable, its better to wish him teh best or you will feel guilty if he fails, if he does fail then it was not meant for him and someone else that also deserves it is taking that chance. If he does go then you can be happy for him and that his hard work paid off c:

@luna about school counsellor: we have, but i guess they won't really mind much...

@luna & yuli: yes, i've tried to pray for his best too but a thinking of losing a friend, especially the one who's kind to you is really sad, even seeing his close friends who will be more hurt than i am is hurting D:
anybody can help how to overcome this feeling, or any ideas about farewell party in case he'll go to japan?

on another note, going to japan myself isn't a bad idea >:}D
