Really? I was once at the Naruto-forum and left it after some minutes because it was too active. So many threads, so many subforums.

I think the ranking is because of the clicks on the page where you read the mangas not the forums. Would also explain why Naruto dropped after it got licensed.

if it' snot on the forum part then the ranking has to do with it's number of readers (IP adresses).

I read somewhere that it has to do with the activeness of the forums.
But it could be the amount of reader.
