damn you Mashima, i thought about Ultear using some magic like that and lose her life but there's better be a flaw to her spell that prevented her from going back in time further than 1 minute and not just not enough of her life energy. I hope she just had her lifespan shortened

Aw, Bacchus and Droy,Aw and maka, well, its a war, people die, it was to be expected, they went there going against dragons knowling full well they were gonna die since they cant be hurt, and since i already got spoiled, they did not deserve to be saved. They died for a reason, they will only die again. ugh, chelia too now, and that moon shot >.> 
Suicide, out of depression. Made to look ok.Yes >.> And considered heroic probably, but what do we all care about, why , gruvia of course, and other shipping. "Bring back my life's worth of times" and for onne minute  I mean, not only is she commiting suicide, she is also being told, that she was right, and that her life is pretty much worthless, or at least, not worth the same as Gray does, becuase we all know all others were there to not make it look bad since they were unimprotant people. Awesome mashima, you deserve some clapping,this is just perfect  And how come Gray made hte shot this time? one minute is not enough time with not even a warning, everything should have gone tbe same, this isjust shit.

Oh plase, now everyone will won because of that one minute, well, let me tell you, you died for being imcompetent mages, so this won you one more fight, in another one you will die, so meh. Hmm, the one minute thing actually makes sense to me because you have to think about the flow of time. Time is billions and billions of years old, all our lives, all potentially 100 years of it IS just a minutes worth of time. If you where to timeline the entire existence of known time on Earth, the amount of time humans have been living on earth is less than 1cm... So that part does make sense to me, actually, a minute is being generous and powerful, a second would have probably been more accurate but it is a manga after all...

Ahh those poor people!! I love you Bacchus!! Anyway, Ultear ultimately ended up doing that she was going to do with Rogue, the sacrifice of one life to save the lives of more people although she didn't know what she did after all...

I don't think Ultear is going to be all dead either, I actually think that somehow it's going to happen how she wanted it and time will go back to before the gate was opened... Hopefully not through the death of Rogue though. 

As far as Ultear's "suicide", we already knew that she had those feelings, she's tried to kill herself before, I'm not saying that her life is less important than those she saved so I'm happy that she's dead because I'm not... But from a character standpoint what she did makes sense, we all knew it was going to happen... Chances are she isn't really "dead" though, it might be more like when Azuma was absorbed into Tenrou when he overused his Tree Magic...

I agree with you Luna. Why does someone as awesome as Ultear has to sacrifice herself because others were incompetent or weak and thought they're getting away after facing dragons? I get it that Mashima wanted it to look like there were others that died or going to die and not just Gray, but i don't like it. When fighting dragons, people die if they are not very strong or not paying attention to the battlefield(Gray).

Also it's kinda stupid to say that they will win this fight without many casualties because  of that minute. After that everything is unpredictable again.

Funny thing is that Ultear thought about Gray but had no feeling or idea that he was made into swiss cheese and then headshot'd by the dragon offspring.
And Lyon's tears for Gray were kinda girly or is it just me?

^Yes, we knew but they added stuff just for fanservice reasons. If the OVA had the same scenes as the manga we wouldn't mind but some of those pics are straight ecchi. I won't mention the Flare-Lucy which is like yuri hentai

They just add stuff for the sake of fanservice and I think that's plain ridiculous to do.

first they wouldn't be able to make one episode/ova(24-26 minutes) from only one manga chapter without adding some extra scenes. The content of the added scenes is a whole other thing
as for the Lucy-Flare thing, I don't know the extent of the added scenes but what would people think of that scene with Lucy in that defenseless position and Flare's sadistic nature?
Most of the people who buy the OVA are perverted to some degree and the producers want to satisfy the wishes of the people who buy that OVA(which is not actually cheap at all in most cases).
The usual anime episodes are on TV and have other rules to respect than an OVA to protect young kids. We who watch those episodes have other expectations from the OVA.
